Good post. I'd say he is great at scheduling old fighters and is a good defensive boxer. Pound for pound he couldn't hold Leonard's jock or any great fighter like Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Jones Jr.
Here are his 42 wins. If you find a big name on the list you can bet they were past their prime. Defintely no one of the caliber of a Roberto Duran or Sugar Ray Leonard.
Win 42?0 United States Victor Ortiz KO 4 (12), 2:59 2011-09-17 United States MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada Won WBC welterweight title.

Last week Carl 'Peep' Erickson a long time hall of fame poster passed away. He leaves behind a wife and school age children. His family needs our help.
Carl was an innovator in forumville and many of his concepts were adopted here and elsewhere.
He was 66 years old. Some of you will remember Peep from the SBR Bash a couple of years ago. He began his forumville run as the head mod at TheRx.
Peep's family must be enduring pain of an unimaginable level during this holiday season. Let's all come together and help ease that pain. For everyone that...

SBR would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe, fun holiday season.
2011 was a great year for the forum and we project 2012 to continue our current 25%+ growth rate.
The contest schedule will show an increase in contests and a sharply increased prize pool. BeatThePrick and SBRPoker will be two of the bigger beneficiaries of the increased prize pools in 2012. BTP will give out $25,000 in cash to the top 50 finishers up from $10,00. Poker will give out $20,000 in straight cash in 2012 and well over a million poker points.
There were several material...

Why is CF favored over Tulsa anyway? Tulsa is going to stomp a hole in them bigger than Lake Okeechobee.
East Carolina getting only 9 against Southern Miss? Did the oddsmakers forget the 1 in front of the 9?
Kentucky a home dog to the awful Ole Miss Rebels? Kentucky wins easily.
Oklahoma -13.5? Watch for the SBR special
If you were to play against both Stanford and USC I think the worse you could do is lose a little juice. Both are laying 3plus TDs after that emotionally draining game. Thats the 2nd in a row for USC. It wouldnt shock me...

Actually I do not ridicule traders. I am indeed one myself. But I'm also a long term investor. As far as YHOO goes I like its valuation and I liked the fact it was up .01 midday yesterday when the other 499 stocks in the SnP 500 were down. Technically speaking I thought that was very interesting.
For real investors I mentioned these are great times to pick up some great companies at a discounted price. I consider an "investment" to be held at least 18 months(for tax purposes) and anything under that is a trade.
By the way, the...

For players who so wish, the option to turn Pro by making a $200 a year charitable contribution will be made available.
Eliminate points given for first post. We will increase the amount of points given for a login visit to compensate. Non pros will still get 6 points a day and Pro's will get 12. The only net effect is a visitor is not required or offered incentive to post. (the forums are plenty busy)
All poker contests will be given poker points as prizes. Prize levels will significantly increase as a result. Poker points must be rolled 5x in...
